A recent UK survey by Globoforce, a world specialist in employee recognition, found that 90% of UK workers say recognition motivates them to do a better job and 86% like to have their efforts and contributions at work formally recognised. As if that weren’t convincing enough, a huge 64% of workers would leave their current company for a competitor that clearly recognised contributions.

Can UK businesses afford not to have a formal Reward & Recognition system in place? Come to Engagement Excellence Live on 17th March where we will be exploring this topic in detail and sharing best practice, success stories and innovations from businesses leading the way.

Keynote speaker, Michael Rose, will be exploring the day’s theme of Reward & Recognition and whether it is a strategic imperative. Michael has been an independent reward consultant for seven years and has worked with the likes of KPMG, Arthur Andersen and Aon. He speaks extensively on Reward and Recognition and has written three books on the topic.

Sian Williams, Human Resources Business Partner – Reward and Recognition at Atos, will also be joining us to reveal how they won Best Recognition Strategy at the Engagement Excellence Awards last year and will be sharing the results they’ve seen from their award-winning programme.

Next, we’ll be hearing from Lisa Butler, Reward & Benefits Business Partner at HomeServe. HomeServe won the Grand Prix award at the Engagement Excellence Awards last year and were specially commended on their recognition strategy. Lisa will be sharing how they used their “Thank You Thursday” initiative throughout the business to drive their engagement score and the results they have seen.

We’re also going to be hearing from Debra Corey, Group Reward Director at Reward Gateway, who will be talking about the importance of balancing your recognition strategy and focusing on experiential rewards in particular.

Finally, Glenn Elliott, Founder & CEO of Reward Gateway, will be sharing his methodology for connecting with your people. Glenn will discuss the opposite approaches of companies that engage their people and companies that eliminate their people as he presents his own practical vision for employee engagement – The Engagement Bridge™.

To round off the day, we’ll be hosting a panel discussion and Q&A with all the speakers giving guests the opportunity to ask any questions around the topic.

It’s set to be a fantastic event, but spaces are limited so make sure you reserve yours soon before they run out.
